Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Danielle Marie Dykins, 23, of Kingman, for aggravated assault on a minor and child abuse, felonies, on Wednesday (7/28). Investigations began Tuesday (7/27) morning regarding a domestic violence incident which occurred earlier that morning in the 300 block of S Magma Road in Golden Valley.Â
On Tuesday (7/27) Dykins was arrested for assault per domestic violence and criminal damage per domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Deputies learned that Dykins was punching, kicking and stabbed her 32-year-old boyfriend in his left hand.
Deputies were advised that Dykins damaged her boyfriend’s dads’ vehicle tires with a knife.Â
Further investigations have determined that Dykins 7-month-old daughter was physically injured during the incident. On Tuesday (7/27) the infant was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and later transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where she was later released.Â
Investigations determined that Dykins was holding her child during the domestic violence incident. A witness reported that as Dykins turned, the child’s’ head was struck on the hall wall inside the residence. Detectives contacted Dykins at the Mohave County Jail where she was charged with the above additional charges.
